  After a comprehensive search, that began in June 2012, the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Board of Directors announced Monday, the appointment of Paul Van Deventer as MPI president and CEO, filling the top leadership role for the largest global meetings and events industry association.   Now that March Madness is over it’s time for “Meeting Madness.” And, we want to thank you for participating in the competition. This year the process is going to be more exciting than ever. Each year MPI chapters submit their best-of-the-best chapter meeting programs to compete to be included in the educational lineup for the annual World Education Congress (WEC). With voting open to all members, WEC attendees get to shape their learning experience at WEC.
