Revealing Top Business
Negotiation Strategies for Leaders

As a leader, you are most likely faced with the on-going intense, competitive and complex daily issues. When facing these sophisticated situations, negotiators need highly developed strategies that often determine the difference between getting what you want and settling for what the other side will give you.

BUCKLE YOUR SEAT BELT! It’s time to get into shape with a new negotiation mindset that creates a winning combination when dealing with your customers, co-workers, the boss, family, friends and even the Starbucks coffee server. This program is designed to provide practical help to enable all meeting professionals to grasp the mindset of an expert negotiator. Even a seasoned leader will develop greater confidence and skills that are required in this fast-paced world of high-stakes negotiations. Listen to how buyers negotiate with you, the seller … how sellers negotiate with you, the buyer. Participate with highly interactive hands on experience while receiving compelling real-life examples to help acquire momentum for you. Bring your negotiating challenges to reveal the facts for real answers.

MPI Connect_790 - Copy Are you interested in connecting with meeting planners face-to-face in a quick and fun atmosphere?  Instead of making small talk at a booth, we’re giving you the opportunity to get right to business in our speed dating appointments.  Show ROI to your employer through this business exchange opportunity as you will meet at least 10 meeting planners and receive meeting planner profiles for all registered meeting planners prior to the event so you will be able to prepare for your appointments.  Plan to bring your business cards and a one-page flyer or promotional item to share with the planners.  Note that you will be rotating to visit the planners, so you’ll want to only bring what you can transport around to your appointments.

What’s included in your fee?

  • Full Day - Includes marketplace appointments for face-to-face time with qualified planners, 3 educational sessions, and lunch
  • CONNECT Planner Education Sponsorship - Opportunity to invite up to 7 planners to attend CONNECT for free and invited planners would also be selected to sit with company representative(s) at a sponsored table during lunch.

Why Participate?

  • 3 Hours of Continuing Education to apply toward your CMP application or recertification
  • One-on-One Planner Appointments
  • Networking Time
  • A listing of meeting planners profiles who will be in attendance.  Profile questions include:
  • A brief organization overview
  • What decision-making role that they play within their organization
  • Types of meetings they plan

  • Event profiles
